Sports hall
Aue sports hall, 5400 Baden
Initial situation
The Aue sports hall in Baden is used by a wide range of users - from school classes and clubs to senior sports groups. Different groups have different requirements for the indoor climate. The challenge: efficient and at the same time comfort-oriented operation that adapts flexibly to actual use - without wasting energy or compromising user comfort.
Solution
A conventional control system cannot map the individual needs of the various user groups flexibly enough. Oxoia therefore relies on an intelligent approach: the resource calendar can be used to store specific usage times and room requirements - for example, when which group uses the hall and what room conditions are required. Supplemented with room data, weather forecasts, algorithms and artificial intelligence, an automatic control system is created that minimizes energy consumption while ensuring optimum conditions in the room - without any manual readjustment.
Results to date
Since the start of the optimization, Oxoia has taken over the control of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technology and continuously adjusts the settings so that as little energy as possible is consumed - while maintaining the same high level of room comfort.
